LIVESTOCK AUCTIONS

THE WEEKLY WEDNESDAY AUCTION OF LIVESTOCK IN BELFAST
is at the heart of our business. The weekly auction held in Belfast every Wednesday has become a regular event since 1954. Badenhorst on site facilities include a rustic restaurant that produces fresh homemade meals and refreshments courtesy of our community from breakfast through lunch.

Sellers can bring their livestock as early as 6am and we will accommodate them in pens with water. Sellers will be allocated a pen number at our discretion based on time of arrival, loyalty and turnover.

It is important for sellers to ensure they have the necessary documentation for identification and proof of ownership, animal owner health declaration and brandmark certificate on arrival.  Please refer to our checklist below:

The Auction commences at 10h00 starting with the goats, followed by the pigs at 11h00, sheep at 11h30 and cattle at 13h00.

ON-SITE AUCTIONS THROUGHOUT MPUMALANGA

We regularly facilitate our customers with an on site Auction of movable assets throughout Mpumalanga. Our team is geared up to handle a variety of circumstances from 100 to 600 lots, from scrap metal to high tech farming equipment. To ensure proper marketing of these clearance sales we require your instructions at least 6 weeks prior to the auction. We will arrange the marketing efforts and collateral on your behalf to our database of buyers. Our Team will gladly assist with the sorting and numbering of the lots.

On the date of auction, our buyers should have their identity documents and proof of residence available on registration.
